Welcome to the
Art Contest for Creative Kids – Spring 2014!
The topic for the
Spring 2014 contest is "The Value of Expression". People express
their opinions, identities, and ideas through different methods, such as art,
writing, dancing, singing, speaking..... Participating in this contest will
make young artists to think about how they express themselves best and to
appreciate the importance of expression in their lives and the world.
Age:
Children in grades 4 to 7 are able to participate.

Artwork and
Writing:
- One artwork of
any medium (painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, etc.) that
represents his or her ideas about the topic in a creative way.
- A short
writing of minimum 1 full paragraph related to the topic. We are
not asking for a writing that merely describes the art but one that shows
understanding of "The Value of Expression". Must be the
participant's own writing that reflects the writer's own ideas.

Judging & Results
Creative
People is committed to promoting awareness, art, and creative thinking in young
local artists and will judge without discrimination on the basis of race,
color, religion, national or ethnic origin, handicap, or gender.
The
artworks will be presented to our judges without information of the artists to
prevent any biased or distorted judgment.
The results will
be updated on the blog 2 weeks after the deadline. The winners will be informed
through email, and we will ask for a personal bio and photo of the participant.
